I designed and engineered a new app for recording a user’s bird sightings.

The app includes user sign-in and online syncing using Firebase, and a local SQL database of species and locations.

There is support for dark mode, Dynamic Type, Apple Maps, account deletion and much more.

The Orchestra

I completely rewrote this best-selling classical music app in Swift, working with our designer on a refreshed look and new support for iPhone.

The app includes a synchronised score, multiple audio and video tracks, the unique BeatMap and 3D rotations.

Birds of the Western Palearctic

A reference work covering 1,000 bird species, 20,000 images and over five million words of text.

I implemented cross-platform (iOS, iPad and Mac) designs with complex text and image layouts, Vimeo video streaming, a large SQL database, Mac Catalyst and full menu and shortcut support.
